Introducing The Little Red Notebook

She finally has a newsletter!

For someone who’s as interested in science, innovation and current affairs as I am, it’s embarrassing how late I am to adopt new things.

There are around 400 identical A6 red hardback notebooks on the shelves beside my desk, lined up with dates hand-written on their spine. I’ve been collecting and curating thoughts in these notebooks since 2001, filling them with lists of ideas to explore, people to interview, films to watch, podcasts to listen to, exhibitions to see, quotes and reflections.

Instead of moving it all into my Notes app, I’ve decided to draw the best of it into an email newsletter so I can connect with the readers, listeners and viewers who follow my work in my books, longform articles, podcasts and on TV.

Every couple of weeks, subscribers will get a short, sharp email in their inbox. It will be my space to try out new ideas, to share links and recommendations, and the first place where I’ll let people know what I’m working on.
